The Government released a consultation paper on 29 April 2011 to consult the trade and the public on how the operation and regulatory framework of the tourism sector should be reformed. After considering the views of various sectors of the tourism industry, the TIC Board has formulated a set of reform recommendations. A consultation session was held today (8 July) at the Preston Training Centre in order to consult members on the recommendations, with an attendance of 52 members.
