The TIC held a lunch gathering for members at the Gloucester Luk Kwok Hong Kong, Wanchai on 15 July 2011. With travel insurance as its theme, the luncheon was joined by about 90 members. Two speakers from the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers were invited to talk about the latest information about travel insurance: Mr Jimmy Poon, Chairman of the General Insurance Council, and Ms Connie Yuen, Convenor of the Task Force on Travel Insurance. A number of members expressed their views in respect of the sale of travel insurance and claims arrangement.
