To encourage tourist guides to diversify and enrich their knowledge, the TIC has decided to expand the scope of self-selected courses (i.e. Item C) under the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme for Tourist Guides. Please click here to view examples of the courses. Tourist guides should note that the courses taken during a CPD period must be different from the ones taken during any other periods.

Tourist guides may contact the TIC Industry Training Department on 2807-1199 during office hours to check whether a course meets the requirements of the CPD Scheme.
