The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC) is going to dispatch a Mobile Visitor Service Unit during the Lunar New Year holiday period (namely 9-11 February 2016) to attractions and places with designated shops, and the TIC’s service assistants will distribute a leaflet entitled “Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong welcomes you”, which contains information on the rights of visitors, to group visitors in order to enhance protection for them.

All the service assistants will wear the TIC’s vests and appointment cards, and the Mobile Visitor Service Unit will have the TIC’s banners hung on it for easy identification. Group visitors at attractions and places with designated shops may contact the TIC’s service assistants on the spot if there is a need.

Group visitors may call the TIC’s Inbound Visitor Service Hotline on (852)2807-0707 for matters regarding the services of Hong Kong’s travel agents and information on the Refund Protection Scheme (Registered Shops) for Inbound Tour Group Shoppers, etc.
