Recruitment of Delivery Staff for delivering Electronic Wristband and Hygiene Pack for “StayHomeSafe” Scheme

In view of the serious pandemic condition, in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 and avoid bringing down the healthcare system, it is high time for the Government to launch "StayHomeSafe" Scheme.

Persons undergoing “StayHomeSafe” Scheme must stay in the premises and wear an electronic wristband; monitor physical condition; conduct regular Rapid Antigen Test; and follow other home quarantine guidelines issued by the Department of Health.

The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC) is now recruiting a large number of delivery staff, a temporary part time job, to deliver the electronic wristbands and hygiene packs to homes of the designated persons who are undergoing the “StayHomeSafe” program urgently. The following vacancy is now open for application to all personnel in the travel industry. The application procedures, requirements, salary and job description are as follows:

Job Requirements for the Delivery Staff for Electronic Wristbands and Hygiene Packs:

1. Minimum 2 or 3 years working experiences in travel industry

     - Be punctual, hardworking, responsible and obey instructions

     - 8 hours work per day (for those who are immediately available will have advantage)

     - Vaccinated with minimum 2 doses (for those who are vaccinated with 3 doses will have advantage)

2. Salary: HK$1500 for 8 hours per day (included lunch/dinner hour)

3. Work Place: As assigned by the special distribution team set up by Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong on daily basis

4. Working Time: 0900-2200 (in 2 shifts, based on daily assignment)

5. Job Description:

Deliver the electronic wristbands and hygiene packs outside of the designated living unit of the persons confirmed with COVID-19 who are undergoing the “StayHomeSafe” Scheme. There is no direct contact with the recipient.

The TIC will provide the practitioners protective equipment such as face shield and medical mask etc. Before starting the duty on daily basis, the delivery staff has to do a self-test of COVID-19 and obtain a negative result. (TIC will provide the COVID-19 self-test kits)
