Briefing webinar on “Data Privacy Regulation Overview and Practice” held by the TIC was smoothly conducted on 17 May 2022. The briefing webinar aimed to introduce for TIC members, especially the IATA Passenger Agents, about the regulation including the Agreement, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), as well as the approach for handling the agreements, enforcement risks and trends for travel agents in Hong Kong. Guest speaker also answered enquiries from the trade during Q&A session.
