The 36th International Travel Expo Hong Kong (ITE) will be held between 18 and 21 August 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with the aim of connecting the trade and business partners through the events and boosting the industry. There will be exhibitors including Mainland, Hong Kong as well as other countries/regions, maintaining its international character. There will also be a number of special themed areas and elements of local travel are also added.

The TIC Deputy Chairman attended the opening ceremony by invitation from the TKS Exhibition Services Ltd (the organisor of ITE) today and became one of the Guests of Honour on stage.

Meanwhile, the TIC is indeed honoured to be invited by the Asia Tourism Exchange Center to set up a booth in its “Beautiful China” booth area (Booth No: E101) to publicise the information of travelling to the Mainland through the new “Web-based Tourism Resource Platform on Belt & Road Related Countries and Regions and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cities”. It aims to actively complement the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China in the promotion of the Mainland culture and tourism resources, as well as to jointly pursue culture and tourism exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong.

As in the past years, TIC members will continue to enjoy free admission to the events on the Trade Days (between 18 and 19 August). Those who are interested are requested to refer to the Circular (C1994) for details about obtaining the Admission Badge.
