Cultural and Heritage Sites Local Tour Incentive Scheme - Deeper into Hong Kong: Creative Itinerary Design Competition’s first assessment has been completed, and the online polling for the favorite itineraries will take place in January next year.
To encourage travel agents to design different in-depth themed itineraries and tourism products, the TIC launched the "Deeper into Hong Kong: Creative Itinerary Design Competition” in August 2023 in support of government initiatives. The first assessment of the competition has been successfully completed. The response to this design competition has been overwhelmingly positive with nearly 700 entries received. 30 "Signature Itineraries" were selected by the assessment panel to advance to the final round of the Competition.
The final round consists of two stages. 30 "Signature Itineraries" will be announced at the first stage and the public are invited to participate in an online public polling to vote for "Most Popular Itinerary", while the two itineraries with the highest number of votes in each theme will proceed to the next stage, where the assessment panel will select six "Supreme Itineraries" across the different themes.
The TIC urge the industry practitioners and the public to actively participate in the polling and cast a valuable vote for your favourite itineraries.
