Labour and Welfare Bureau (LWB) of the Government of the HKSAR has now conducted a 2023 Manpower Projection and commissioned PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services Limited (PwC) to conduct sectoral consultation. The aim is to gauge the manpower requirements in key sectors and growth areas by implementing a series of sectoral consultations to collate advice and insights on the manpower and skills requirements in the horizon of the next five years from major stakeholders of various sectors covered.

The findings will facilitate the HKSAR Government to formulate appropriate strategies to alleviate manpower shortage and enhance local talent pool to meet the needs of Hong Kong’s future developments.
