The following is a traffic notice from Transport Department:

To facilitate the Hong Kong Road Race Walking Championships, the following special traffic arrangements will be implemented on Lung Wo Road from 4.00 am to 1.00 pm on 13 February 2024:

Road Closure
The section of Lung Wo Road eastbound between Lung Hop Street and Fleming Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

Lane Closure
The following part of lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(i) Part of the traffic lane of Lung Wo Road eastbound between Tim Wa Avenue and Lung Hop Street; and
(ii) Part of the traffic lane of Lung Hop Street northbound near to Lung Wo Road.

Banning of Turning Movement
Vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn from Lung Hop Street onto Lung Wo Road eastbound.

Traffic Diversion
(i) Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road eastbound and Lung Hop Street heading to Hung Hing Road eastbound will be diverted via Expo Drive, roundabout and Expo Drive East.
(ii) Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road eastbound heading to Central – Wan Chai Bypass Tunnel will be diverted via Expo Drive.

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected to guide motorists.
