Pilot Information Technology Development Matching Fund Scheme for Travel Agents (the Scheme) has been launched since 2016. It aims to provide funding to travel agents on a matching basis to expand their business by adopting information technology (IT) for upgrading their productivity and service quality, and thereby strengthening their competitiveness in the local or overseas markets. 

The 2023-2024 Budget provides an additional funding of $30 million for the Pilot Scheme to help more travel agents make the best use of IT to enhance, innovate and develop their business. The new phase of the Pilot Scheme will be open for application on April 8, 2024 and a number of enhancement measures will be introduced. 

TIC will organise an online briefing session to introduce the details of the Pilot Scheme and its application requirements to members, details of which are set out below:
