【Hong Kong Travel Trade Belt and Road Delegation: Yanqing District of National Capital Beijing Municipality, Almaty of Kazakhstan】opens for registration
It has been eleven years since President Xi Jinping proposed the Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative. With the funding and support from the Tourism Commission of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the TIC will organise the【Hong Kong Travel Trade Belt and Road Delegation: Yanqing District of National Capital Beijing Municipality, Almaty of Kazakhstan】(Delegation). The itinerary will begin with Beijing and in the following days the Delegation will transfer to Kazakhstan for visiting distinctive attractions to further facilitate a better understanding of the latest development, as well as to exchange with the representatives of Government cultural tourism department(s) and the trade. It aims to facilitate the trades to further co-operate to “go global” and expand market opportunities along the B&R. The Delegation will be accompanied by representatives from the Government official(s), Legislative Council member(s) and main trade organisation(s), etc.

Quota arrangement: |
If the quotas are exceeded in the enrolment, allocation of places will be determined by drawing lots. The priority will be given to one representative from each licensed travel agent. |
Within one week after the deadline for application, the TIC will confirm by email that the applicant has successfully obtained the quota for the Delegation. After receiving the confirmation email, the applicant must submit required information and make full payment by the specific date mentioned in the email in order for the application to be successful. Overdue payment will mean that the applicant waives its participation quota automatically. The TIC will announce the details of the delegation in mid-late September.
