Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival 2024: Island-hopping journey featuring nature and arts has now begun!
The Tourism Commission has been organising the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival (SKHAF) since 2022, featuring an integration of arts with the islands (including Yim Tin Tsai, Sharp Island, Kau Sai Chau and High Island), allowing visitors to experience the natural landscape, history, culture and heritage of Sai Kung Hoi. The third year of the Arts Festival is being held on the above four islands from 13 November 2024 to 12 January 2025, with the curatorial theme of "Joy Again, Gather" summarising the community bonds established over the past two years on the islands and inviting everyone to gather at Sai Kung Hoi.
This year's Arts Festival will display 27 artworks with isle’s characteristics and has invited artists from various places to participate in creating artworks that tell the stories of Sai Kung Hoi. Other than displaying artworks, guided tours and public programmes of various themes are being offered to visitors free of charge during the Arts Festival.
Besides, to welcome tourists to SKHAF, tourists can enjoy free island hopping kaito ride to visit Yim Tin Tsai/Sharp Island or Kau Sai Chau/High Island from 9 December 2024 to 12 January 2025.
