The Hong Kong Productivity Council launches “Digital DIY Portal” to support the trade in seizing new opportunities in the digital transformation
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is advancing rapidly, triggering a new wave of global digital transformation, creating new possibilities for SMEs looking to transform digitally. In this rapidly changing market, SMEs must actively deploy AI strategies to maintain their competitive edge. Today, AI is no longer just an optional feature but a necessary investment for staying competitive in the market.
In view of the ardent needs of enterprises for digital transformation, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) set up the Digital DIY Portal with a collection of practical and must-have digital transformation solutions for enterprises to select. Digital DIY Portal aims to facilitate local enterprises in identifying suitable digital transformation solutions and connect them to reputable service providers which in turn assist them in implementing digital transformation, improve operational efficiency and open up new business opportunities.
Digital DIY Portal is a free one-stop online platform with abundant digital transformation information, providing a novel way for enterprises, especially SMEs, to get connected with digital transformation solution providers for low-cost and highly efficient solutions that match their needs; and provide the latest information on digital and innovation and technology (I&T) activities, and related training courses. The portal currently has already gathered a number of business digital application solutions, covering e-commerce, smart office management, network security solutions, e-marketing, data analytics, etc. Most of them offer flexible payment methods such as monthly or pay-as-you-go charges, which can help ease SMEs’ worries about upfront investment in digital transformation.
Interested TIC members may visit the official website of the “Digital DIY Portal” and also subscribe to “DIY Express” to receive the latest updates and insights.
