The TIC has received many phone calls from members, saying that Metis Charter Airline has sent them emails which promote charter flight tickets. According to the Civil Aviation Department, as at 21 August 2006, neither Metis Charter Airline nor any of its related companies have submitted a formal application for charter flights. However, an airline has enquired about matters concerning charter flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver to be operated by Metis Charter Airline Hong Kong.

The TIC will closely monitor the issue and release updated information to members.
