The Hong Kong International Tourism Convention, organised by the Government together with the TIC and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), was successfully concluded on 12 December 2018. 

Under the theme of “Leveraging Belt and Road Initiative & Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development”, the Convention brought together representatives of tourism authorities and pioneers of the travel trade from Hong Kong, Macao and mainland China and from countries along the Belt and Road, thus providing a platform to promote multilateral tourism exchanges among different governments and to explore new business opportunities.
