Organised by the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the “Smart Tourism in the Greater Bay Area Forum” will be held online and in physical form on 21 May 2021. The Forum is sponsored by the University Grants Committee, and supported by the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, the Sun Yat-sen University and the Macau Institute for Tourism Studies.

Academics and researchers from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau have been invited to share and exchange experiences through the Forum, review the latest development of smart tourism and big data in the Greater Bay Area, as well as explore forward-looking issues such as opportunities and challenges that the industry is facing.
