Recruitment for full time hotline assistants on the basis of non-civil service contract by the Home Affairs Department
In view of the ongoing serious pandemic condition, the Home Affairs Department has set up a dedicated 24-hour telephone hotline (1833 019) to provide support and assistance to persons undergoing home quarantine under the “StayHomeSafe” Scheme. The hotline has already commenced operation from 10 February.
The Home Affairs Department is now urgently recruiting the positions of full time hotline assistants on the basis of non-civil service contract, which are for travel trade practitioners to apply. The position manages to handle general enquiry service and mark down requests for assistance made by persons undergoing home quarantine under the “StayHomeSafe” Scheme, and refer the relevant cases to relevant departments for follow-up as appropriate. The working locations are in Wong Tai Sin Community Centre, Lai Chi Kok Community Hall or any other places designated by the supervisor around Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. The application deadline is 2:00pm on 11 March 2022.
