Briefing webinar for travel trade on “2022 Employment Support” Scheme, jointly organised by the TIC and the Office of Yiu Pak-leung, Legislative Councillor, was smoothly conducted today. The briefing webinar aimed to introduce for TIC members the information including application procedures, subsidy disbursement arrangements, as well as the points to note when submitting application documents. Guest speakers (Ms Doris Ho JP, Head of Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office, and Mr Sze To Wai, Partner of PwC, central processing agent of “2022 Employment Support” Scheme) also answered enquiries from the trade during Q&A session.
The new round of “2022 Employment Support” Scheme will be open for applications from 8:00am on 29 April 2022. The Scheme is to provide three months (i.e. May, June and July 2022) of wage subsidies to sectors affected by the fifth wave, particularly small-and-medium sized enterprises.
