Invitation to participate in the sharing forum of “Development and Opportunities of Study Tours”
As a common saying goes, “Travelling brings about far greater benefit than mere book learning”. In the learning process, both primary and secondary school students are not satisfied with acquiring knowledge from one-way teaching, reading books or digital visuals. Site visit and direct engagement learning experiences are a very important learning pathway. Study Tours may help students broaden their horizons, allowing students to communicate through “going out of the classroom” to interact with others. Students may directly participate in interactive learning to achieve an all-round and multi-sensory learning experience.
After the pandemic, organising study tours may encounter new challenges and opportunities. In view of this situation, the TIC specially invites the representatives of licensed travel agents, education institutions and hotel industry that operate study tours to discuss the development direction and new opportunities of study tours.
