In order to assist members and the trades in seizing the opportunities brought by the Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative and the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the TIC is funded by the HKSAR Government and build up a new “Business to Business (B2B)” online Tourism Resource Platform【GreaterGo】from late December 2022.【GreaterGo】engages tourism and related industries that aims at gathering tourism industry and its related partners through business matching, exploring business opportunities, facilitating multi-party exchanges and cooperation, as well as publicising the latest travel information of places in the B&R and GBA.

The TIC will hold an event of【GreaterGo】Launching Ceremony and Symposium on “The Trades Join Hands to Foster Tourism Recovery” in the afternoon on 15 March 2023 (Wednesday) with an “online + offline” format. Mr Kevin Yeung GBS, JP (Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, HKSARG) and Ms Vivian Sum JP (Commissioner for Tourism, Tourism Commission, Sports and Tourism, Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, HKSARG), Mr Zhang Dong (Director of the Asia Tourism Exchange Center Ltd), the Hon Yiu Pak Leung MH (Legislative Councillor - Functional Constituency, Tourism, Legislative Council) were invited to be the Guests of Honour.

In the event, the TIC will introduce【GreaterGo】 functions and announce the latest news that benefit members and trade. The Hon Yiu will be our moderator during the Symposium. The TIC also invited different sectors’ representatives to be guest speakers to discuss current tourism market trend and its latest development, promotion strategies and prospects under the current gradual resumption of the market. Members are cordially invited to participate. Details are as follows:
