The TIC and the Office of Yiu Pak-leung, Legislative Councillor, jointly launch an online survey on “Business situation of Hong Kong Travel Agents one year upon resumption of normalcy”

2024-03-14

The tourism industry had been frozen for three years due to the pandemic, and the normal travel between Hong Kong and the Mainland was finally fully resumed in 2023. Looking back at the recovery progress of the tourism industry over the past year, the trade still faces different difficulties. The TIC, together with the Office of Yiu Pak-leung, Legislative Councillor, hopes to conduct a survey to understand the current situation of the travel trade one year upon resumption of normalcy as well as the trade’s needs. The information collected from the survey will be used to help the TIC and the Office of Yiu Pak-leung, Legislative Councillor, to continually reflect the industry’s concerns to the HKSAR Government with an aim to speed up the pace of recovery of the tourism industry.

This survey contains 16 questions and takes around 5 minutes to complete. Findings of the survey will be released in summary format without disclosing any personal information.

TIC members are kindly encouraged to actively click here to submit the online survey so that we may join efforts with the trade to recover the industry steadily. The deadline is 28 March 2024 (Thursday).
