With the facilitation and support of the Tourism Commission of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the TIC collaborates with the LCSD to promote the selected art and cultural program through【GreaterGo】B2B platform which is specially for travel agents operating inbound tour groups with designated group tickets booking.

The first programme to be presented is the “Chinese Opera Festival 2024: The Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre”. With a history of 600 years, Kunqu Opera is full of aesthetic value that was listed in the first “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO in 2001.

Riding on the various art and cultural events happening in Hong Kong, the TIC aims to bring travel agents new inspiration in product design through these selected art and cultural programmes, and to develop more high value-added local in-depth tourism products and grasp the business opportunities brought by the events; also to encourage travel agents to actively embrace changes and frequently adopt new ideas for developing high quality products by including the above programme into the inbound tour groups itineraries, so as to attract more high-end and high-spending tourists, to highlight the characteristics of Hong Kong, as well as to enhance the in-depth travel experience of tourists in Hong Kong.
