Invitation to Experience “Deeper into Hong Kong” Itineraries

With the funding and support from the Tourism Commission of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the 'Deeper into Hong Kong' itinerary design competition was organised by the TIC with the aim at encouraging travel agents to create in-depth tour itineraries and unique tourism products, thereby attracting visitors to explore the diverse facets of Hong Kong, as well as to experience its contrasting local characteristics.

In line with the government's initiative to further promoting more thematic tours, the TIC cordially invites licensed travel agents to participate in the familiarisation tours organised in July 2024 to experience two of the award-winning Supreme Itineraries from the Competition.

Details of the familiarisation tours are as below:

Highlights﹕	Hong Kong has gone through British colonial history and Japanese occupation. The tour shares mysterious urban legends that have remained after generations, giving tour participants a thrilling and memorable experience. Tour will cover a visit to University Station / Ngo Keng Kiu / High Street Haunted House, etc.	Take a boat ride to witness the geological wonders of a super volcano eruption over one hundred million years ago and explore the unique sea caves created by natural erosion. These sea caves, known as the Four Famous Caves, boast distinctive formations. Tour will cover a visit to Sea Cave / Astropark / High Island / Tin Hau Temple, etc.

Fee﹕	Free of charge, places are limited.
Application﹕	Please click here for online application. Each application is limited to ONE enrolment and each licensed travel agent can apply for maximum of TWO representatives to participate in ONE of the familiarisation tours. If the quotas are exceeded in the enrolment, allocation of places will be determined by drawing lots.
Remark﹕	1. There is possibility of media participation and filming during the tour. 2. Participants must be employees of licensed travel agents. 3. Once the participant list is confirmed, it cannot be changed or transferred to other persons. 4. The tour includes transportation, one meal and local travel insurance. 5. The tour and schedule will be subject to change.
Application deadline﹕	8 July 2024 (Monday) 12:00noon

Interested travel agents are requested to complete the above-mentioned online registration form and enrolled no later than 8 July 2024.

Successful applications will receive an email confirmation with event admission details from the TIC on 10 July 2024
