Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant with a focus on cruise travel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cruise itineraries, destinations, and onboard experiences, along with excellent customer service skills. This role involves advising clients, booking cruise vacations, and ensuring a seamless travel experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a cruise travel expert, providing personalised recommendations to clients based on their preferences, budget, and travel goals.
• Assist clients in selecting and booking cruise vacations, including air tickets, pre- and post-cruise hotel accommodations, transportation and any land arrangement.
• Handle all aspects of the booking process, including reservations, payments, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering support before, during, and after their cruise.
• Participate in consumer seminars, travel expos, and industry events to showcase cruise offerings and network with potential clients.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or equivalent in Tourism or Hospitality Management is a plus.
• 3–4 years of experience in travel consulting, with a focus on cruise travel (entry-level candidates with a passion for cruising will also be considered).
• Strong knowledge of major cruise lines, their fleets, itineraries, and onboard offerings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• A passion for travel and a desire to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
