The TIC has revised one of the requirements for applying for the Waiver Programme for English-Speaking Tourist Guide by English-speaking tourist guides who know Chinese. The original requirement, “English speakers who know Chinese and have at least five years’ experience in receiving inbound package tours in English in Hong Kong”, has now been revised to “English speakers who know Chinese and have at least two years’ experience in receiving inbound package tours in English in Hong Kong”.
