The Police have informed the TIC that some tourist guides were waiting at the Hong Kong Port Area of the Shenzhen Bay Port as non-cross boundary people to meet mainland inbound tour groups, whose act may have violated the relevant law.

Since the Hong Kong Port Area of the Shenzhen Bay Port is a Closed Area, non-cross boundary people must have a valid Closed Area Permit issued by the Hong Kong Police Force in order to enter and stay at the Area. Tourist guides are reminded that in order not to violate the law, they must not wait at the Area to meet tour groups without a Closed Area Permit unless entering and leaving the Shenzhen Bay Port with tour groups.
