Since the Covid-19 pandemic remains severe, the TIC, after having extended in July the validity of the Tourist Guide Pass (TGP) and the two-year period for renewal of the TGP, has recently decided to further extend the relevant validity and renewal period in order to assist tourist guides. Details are as follows:

1. The validity of those TGPs and those two-year periods for renewal of TGPs which have expired or are due to expire during the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 May 2021 are extended so that the TGPs and the periods concerned will not expire until 30 June 2021; and
    
2. The counting of the validity period of the TGPs concerned remains the same, i.e., the new Pass will be valid for three years, counting from the day following the day on which the old Pass expires.
